LULZ I JUST REALIZED IT'S JANUARY. Apogee was supposed to be finished by the end of December. LOLOLOL!! Oh, self. You are so naive. *headdesk* I made an f-locked post about this, but for those of you not on my flist and curious about Apogee, here's what's up: RL drama is too epic for me to write much at the present time. Deal with it.

So I've been writing some but not a lot, and some of it's Apogee but not all of it. Deal, people. Morgan/Reid fic galore is coming, even though I've only seen up to 5x01. And BTW, HOMG Reid and JJ sit in exactly the same way at around 8:15 in 3x01--I'm just saying this b/c Reid is so gay and I love him so. I'm also doing McShep fic, but that's not coming out until I've finished the show, so you've got two seasons left on that one. Ho hum.

I need good Morgan/Reid fic recs. I've got everything I could find by carolinecrane, lagolindari, and severity_softly -- along with one or two fics by ansera, catherinewinner, innerslytherin, and ubervirgin, but there's seriously not much that I've been able to find. I mean, is that it? Seven authors? What's up with that?! That is seriously ALL I could find. I even went on FFN in my fervent search, and you all KNOW how I feel about FFN. *headdesk*

Speaking of craziness, what's up with all the creepy pairings in Criminal Minds fandom, anyway? Why is Hotch/Reid so popular? And, um, sorry people, but Garcia and Morgan flirt because they're friends, not because they're having a secret romance on the side. Man, I wish I could just upload the entire series to my brain so I could have it all done with and write fic with the knowledge of everything that's available. Oh well. *shrugs*

Also, I am highly amused at the sheer number of fandom guest stars we've seen. We've got (in no particular order) Bobby from SPN, Gabrielle from Xena, the creepy sister/nun from Carnivale, Xander from Buffy, the older detetcive from Dexter, Michael from SGA, and one of the leads from a gay movie called "Shelter" (it's a good movie).

OMG DEREK MORGAN, DEXTER MORGAN, AND DRACO MALFOY SHARE THE SAME INITIALS!! Coincidence, or carefully planned strategy to lure fangirls in? YOU DECIDE!

ALSO: I'm kind of ticked that CM 5x01 didn't show Reid in the hospital. I mean, hello? His foot got shot for God's sake! I know everything with Hotch was more dramatic, but I was really hoping to see Reid too. DX

ALSO: I've watched True Blood season 2, and I've got to say--TOTALLY SHIPPING ERIC/GODRIC!! And this quote had me LULZing: Sookie: "He's your maker, isn't he?" Eric: "Don't use words you don't understand." Sookie: "You have a lot of love for him." Eric: "Don't use words I don't understand." \o/ There must be fic out there, right? RIGHT?!?! *panics*

ALSO: I'm compiling a mental list of the best kisses, mostly same-sex, in shows. But great het ones I'll take too. So far, the only kisses that really stood out to me as being HOMG were the one between Jack and Ianto in 2x03 (around the 34 minute mark) and the one between Alice and Tasha at the end of The L Word 5x08. Any others? Ideas?

ALSO x4: I can't believe Caprica's starting and I'm not done with BSG yet!! EPIC FAIL, SELF. EPIC FAIL. Watching all of this stuff is really putting a dent in my free time, I'm telling you. *epic sigh*

writersfordwb - It's a comm for the SPN fandom, similar to Sweet Charity. Apparently, the SPN fandom is doing a fundraiser to get $1,000 for Doctors Without Borders as a Christmas present to both Jensen and Jared. So, you sign up to get auctioned off, and the money goes to charity. Yay! LOL, I doubt anyone's going to give any money for my SPN fic, though, SRSLY. :P

STILL I am totally doing this and encouraging other SPN fans to do so as well! \o/

I'm heading back to internet-less land. :D So I'll be back to replying once or twice a week. Sorry! Blame my lack of internetz, not me! I've responded to almost every comment, so if I haven't responded to yours, I'll get to it ASAP, I SWEAR!! *headdesk*

Also, so sad to see Kim Manners go. But whenever I hear someone dies of lung cancer, I always have to wonder why they killed themselves. Smoking kills you. It's a fact. And even being around other smokers--well, second-hand smoke, even if you don't smoke yourself, is even worse than smoking (b/c cigarettes have that filter and the smoke around them isn't filtered at all.) Why do so many people die of lung cancer? It's astounding to me. Also, not to sound like a horrible human being, but I seriously hope the show isn't affected poorly by this. Obviously, Kim had a huge impact on the show, and some of my favorite episodes were his work. I hope his influence is honored by his colleagues.

Also, I have heard more about Havemercy. I am so in debate about reading this book. I guess I should support the fandom and buy it. But I am so iffy about people in fandom writing books. I know it's hypocritical, and I'm going to end up buying it anyway, but I mean, come on. Don't you have higher expectations because it's ladyjaida? I know I do, and if my expectations aren't met, it will be fail. :(
