I was researching the ending for my wizard_trauma fic that is due by the end of today, and I ended up stumbling across the following sentence:

"Finally, because everyone needs caring relationships and love, emotional neglect can be more devastating than abuse, particularly in the earliest years of life."

It was on a Sexual Abuse of Males website that I went to.

So that's just fucking lovely, ain't it? Although it does explain a lot.
