Writing by the numbers -_-;
Oct. 2nd, 2005 03:51 pmWell, here's my list of things that I'm currently writing:
- TBKS chapter 7
- S/R one-shot for my sis (some fluffy shit that she likes- meh -_-;)
- original short story for my Fiction Writing class
- original novella for same class
- H/D B3: Endgame fic (just started, going to be cracktastic)
So, that makes me have the following number of pages to write in the amount of time prescribed:
- about 30 in the next month (about 15,000 words)
- about 10 in the next two weeks (about 5,000 words)
- at least 10 more in the next three days (about 5,000 words)
- about 100 in the next three months (about 50,000 words)
- at least 100 before January 1, 2006 (at least 50,000 words)
Which makes my total word count by January 1, 2006 (not including extra essays and whatnot):
125,000 words, or about 250 pages
So yeah. *sobs in a corner* I will be in my own personal hole for a while.
However, I wrote "Amaranthine" in the space of just over four hours, and it's 4300 words, give or take.
New equation!
125,000 / 4300 = 29.07 (I'll round up to 30)
30 * 4.5 = 135
So, it'll take me 135 hours (straight, without writer's block or distractions of any kind) to write all of that, which is about 5 days and 15 hours.
*sigh* It seems like it's possible, but then how easily distracted I am.
Oh, look! A pretty light! *wanders away*
