LOL, the chicks of the week in TOS were basically like these confusing random organisms to Jim. He was like "uh, I guess I have to interact with you or something?"
HA - Have you seen season three? It gets BETTER - like, the beginning half he just hands them off to Chekov, like, "Here, you take this." LOL. (On the plus side, Chekov gets laid? Poor Sulu.)
I've been making comments on a notepad document to all the TOS Analyzation project chapters (which I saved so I could read them at home)
Are you catching the typos? I wish I had done that, so I could've helped her fix them. :( But yeah - she's pretty damn awesome. I never really thought about it from an actor's perspective before, but I think she has a point that what's on screen isn't unintentional, it's definitely thought out by SOMEBODY. Maybe the 60's were just that different, but... I don't think so. I don't think guys were normally that flirty with each other for no good reason, back then. (And boy, was Shatner a F-L-I-R-T. But that goes without saying.) This is always one of those things I wrestle with, when someone asks me about K/S being canon. I definitely think so, but Shatner is my variable on intention.
I hate Ginny with a vengeful passion. She's a manipulative, guilt-tripping, idiotic fan of famous people who has no idea how to deal with Harry's actual life trauma. *EPIC HEADDESK*
OH HI ARE YOU ME??? Seriously... I don't get her appeal, or how she's supposedly "Harry's equal". (BOOOOOOOOO.) Frankly, I just call her "the Holy Womb Unit", because that's all she proved good for. (And that's not misogyny from me, that's the AUTHOR.) Seriously sickening UGH.
(However, I'm a Harry/Hermione shipper, so apparently I'm just insane or something. Harry/Draco makes more sense than Harry/Ginny ever did, though.) (Especially since Harry was all like, "OMG WHAT'S HE DOING" like forty times throughout a chapter, and Ginny would just have great smelling hair... I don't know. WTH, Rowling?)
