LOL, I'm writing an Apogee prequel for the startrekbigbang. So it won't be out any time soon, and actually by the time it DOES come out it's going to be so necessary that I'll have gotten complaints, I just know it. *headdesk*
WIN!! <3 I drop everything when I get an idea for Apogee, actually. The other day I was literally in the middle of a sentence talking to my sister and I ran out of the room to write down what I'd just thought of. XD
Well, if it was left up to Jim God only knows when he'd get the guts to tell Bones. So you know Bones is going to have to suck it up and yell at jim about his idiocy. I'm actually re-writing a scene in 9 now to deal with this b/c I didn't think it would go down this way, but what can you do? These characters, you know, they're just uncontrollable.
Spock and Jim both have to deal with prejudice in different ways, so it's still very much alive and horrible in the 23rd century. I think TOS shows that and XI canon should mirror it. I think Kirk wanted to do a LOT MORE than just kick Wilshaw off the ship, but there are limits. XD
Thanks for the compliments!! :D It's going to be important as the story progresses that they do think differently about a lot, but I hope in the end it will just all make sense and work well to form a complete picture of their relationship. That's the goal, anyway. :P
LOL, lots of people quoted that line. I thought it was too funny when I thought of it and I couldn't leave it out. XD
