Nope, I'm only mid-way through season two. But I am so looking forward to Kirk's continuing confusion regarding women in his life. XP
You know, I hate making judgments about how canon a pairing is before I've seen everything. Right now, I think K/S is pretty fucking canon, but then again something drastic could happen later that changes my mind. I mean, I doubt it, but who knows? I do like that she's going at it from an actor's perspective, but I'm wondering if it really matters if the K/S was intentional or not. I mean, there's plenty of popular slash pairings where you KNOW it's unintentional but fans still pick up on it. So... in the end, I do think it's all about what the viewer interprets it as. I'm a big reader-response theorist. XD
I am so with you there. I really could not take it when JKR makes Harry's love interest this Mary Sue. *kicks Ginny with a chainsaw* H8 H8 H8 H8!! I have so much dislike for her character. I actually hated Ginny from the first book b/c I thought she had no point, and I continued to hate he throughout the series, so I gues it's been a consistent thing for me? XD
H/Hr is all good. And since it's so rare I talk to a H/Hr shipper, I'll say this b/c it srsly bothers me every time I think about it: have you read that interview where JKR disses the H/Hr fans? She says something like that they need to go back and re-read the books b/c they weren't paying attention? I DON'T EVEN LIKE H/HR AND I WANTED TO STRANGLE HER FOR THAT SHIT. EPIC FAIL JKR. D: (It's like when she said that she didn't understand how anyone could actually like Draco b/c he wasn't supposed to be a sympathetic character. GET REAL, JKR. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND YOUR CHARACTERS OR READERS AT ALL.)
