A Very Weird Question
I get this strange reaction to a few people in fandom. Not saying any names, b/c that's not the point of this, but you guys know when someone (usually a BNF) gets published IRL and then sort of completely drops out of fandom and all they can talk about is their own stuff or the stuff of the people they know who have also been published?
This phenomenon hurts me. ;_;
I swear, I will never abandon fandom or fanfiction, no matter if I get published or not. \o/

TigersLoveMe87 (1:22:10 AM): reminds me of ______.
TigersLoveMe87 (1:22:14 AM): God, I miss ______ fic. =(
TigersLoveMe87 (1:24:31 AM): If I get published one day or start writing amazing screenplays that people actually want to make movies out of, I will never ever ever ever ever quit fandom.
<3 I understand. Fully. *has hurts too*

I mean, I'm planning on trying to get published, but never ever will I quite fandom. I can't imagine why people do that. It just seems completely like, IDK, like giving up a part of yourself (and probably a large part of the reason why you're published in the first place) in order to be high and mighty and lord it over people who aren't published.
This really bugs me. I'm glad I'm not the only one. ♥

I hope it has a fandom, because it will be hilarious to watch it.

The idea of having your own fandom is kind of awesome.

Yeah, I only recently started thinking about the possibility of it having a fandom... the idea is almost too amazing to contemplate, lol. I can't understand why any author would be against it. I can't wait to read the fic! Even the terrible ones. XD
