Ugh, seriously. Most of the crap on TV today is just that, crap. Even the cartoons, man! And all the shows that are popular with people in my age range, I just don't understand the interest in. AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON REALITY TV. >_O I think horror movies nowadays are perfect examples of what you mentioned. All the things like Saw, Hostel, and etc. just spoon-fed out the gore and whatnot, and it just screams "HEY, THIS IS SCARY, BE AFRAID!" To be honest, those don't scare me at all, they just gross me out. Films with atmosphere, though, that really play with the ambience, though, freak me the hell out. To me, it's not what you see, but what you think you might see that terrifies me.
OMG, IMAX WAS AWESOME. I wish I could've gotten there earlier to get better seats (second row at the bottom, man xD), but it was still just amazing.
YAAAAY, INTERNET. Which makes me realize, I've still yet to make a mandatory post-movie review post. This must be rectified!
