Eh, no issue. Re-reading, I was being pretty nitpicky - I do that sometimes, sorry! And yes, getting dumped into cold enough water can kill, unless the person has some pretty good insulation; why I assumed that the uniform he wore down to an ice planet WASN'T insulated...
I don't think the ready room was in the movie, which means that it isn't strictly canon for the movie universe, so yeah - he may not have one! Again, me being unnecessarily nitpicky.
