Hmmm... you know, I think that the whole point of writing is to get people to be emotionally involved with your characters. If you're not doing that, then what's the point, really? In fact, and this might be TMI so sorry in advance, but one time I was writing this Digimon fic and I had a semi-argument with a reader over how long people feel good for after they cut. One of the main guys, Yamato, was starting to cut and that was how the whole thing started. It was very awkward. :/

No, I'm not going to kill Jim. I can guarantee you that Jim will end up with Spock, happily together. That was my goal when I started writing this fic. I wanted to write out my version of how Jim and Spock get from the end of XI to the loving couple I know they become. And, dammit, that's what I'm going to do if it kills me! :P
LMFAO, um, I would not necessarily assume that Winona and George, and actually Amanda and Sarek, are going to be cute. Hm. I don't actually think cute is the word I would use there. Just FYI. *headdesk*

LOL, no worries all around then. It's not nosy or annoying at all. I'm open to discussion basically at all times. XD But no, actually we didn't end up sending the letter. And he had written that would write often for the rest of his life, but we haven't got a second letter yet. So now I'm thinking two things: 1. It was a dick move to ignore our wishes (that I had clearly stated in the phone call) in the first place, and 2. It was even worse to send the letter, promise he'd send more, and then back out again. Like, why even disregard our wishes in the first place, if you're only going to try to guilt trip us once and then back off later? I don't get it. It only adds to the idea I've got that he can't be trusted, and dammit, but I got my hopes up for another letter and can't help myself from checking for one. DDD:
