YOU. I MUST FRIEND YOU NOW BECAUSE OF YOUR AWESOMENESS! IF ONLY TO ALWAYS BOW BEFORE YOU TO REMIND YOU OF HOW AWESOME YOU ARE.
When someone writes a realistic portrayal of a pairing, no matter what pairing, it really challenges me as a writer. Because if someone can actually make the couple work logistically (even if it takes a million words for the two characters to kiss), the entire game has stepped up a level. It's one of those "I WILL DO BETTER AS A FICCER!"
Sex is important for a reading diet because without it, all fangirls would whither and die. Even some fanboys. Because men that pretty just can't be friends. Especially with that much subtext. (ST, Merlin or SPN. It just doesn't work that way in my brain)
Fangirling is good. It means every time you update, I'll flail and scream and nearly die before I even read the chapter. Also, it means I'll adore you forever. Unless you kill my favorite character for good. Then I may rebel (ala Rowling and Torchwood), albeit quietly.
Oh shit. Your epic list is epic. I may not sleep tonight since I need to read your stuff first and then check out the list. (It's been a while since I've read a good H/D. I especially need one after HBP, which I am "OMG YAY" and "OMG NOOOO!" on all at the same time.)
Stalking is entirely fine. Just say hi from time to time. =] Spazzing about fandom is awesome. I love a good chance to spaz.
