Well that was definitely very strange and different, not a bad thing at all sometimes. Two of my favorite things about Batman are the Arkham Asylum comic book and the Nolan movies, so I feel that it's always a great combination if it's well written. I love the way you write B&J and I feel that you really "get" them too so well...So that even the "no sex" thing didn't bother me at all in this!
And I loved that last line of this fic too. Right on about Gotham definitely. Also I think the religious metaphors were very fitting, and I'm an atheist!

Yes...except that the Joker doesn't really want to kill Batsy. And Bruce might sometimes want to kill Joker but of course we all know, just like J does, that he never will. So they will always be stuck together XD That's exactly why they are such a brilliantly dysfunctional OTP. But yeah, the non fandom people just don't get it...I've even tried to explain it to my mother a few times too :P
